Old Summer Palace

Old summer palace is the comprehensive name of Yuanmingyuan, Changchunyuan and Wanchunyuan. It is the largest imperial garden in China. It is a rare masterpiece of garden construction, which concentrated the cream of Chinese gardens and absorbed European gardening art. Hence the name "Garden of All Gardens". In 1860, the garden was burnt down by the British-French Allied Troops. Picture shows the Remains of the palace.
